Ultradark® series is the new generation of blackout fabrics developed by Comersan.
Ultradark fabric is one of our most popular fabrics. Its occulting power, 1000 times superior to other similar fabrics on the market, and the total absence of synthetic coatings, make it a perfect fabric for hotels, for privacy in open spaces and to create more welcoming environments. Another of the strong points of Ultradark fabric is the drape and feel of the fabric itself. As we have mentioned, the fabric is plastic-free and has the OEKO TEX certificate, which guarantees that the fabric is ecological and free of harmful substances.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Ultradark and other Blackouts?
Ultradark collection articles are the only existing blackout fabrics that do not have a plastic coating. This makes their resistance to washing and damage much superior to other blackouts.
What's the difference between Rubeblack and Blacksan?
Blacksan has a plastic coating on the back, while Rubeblack has it between two fabrics. While not reaching the levels of the Ultradark series, this gives it greater resistance to use and washing.
Are all blackouts fire retardant?
Yes, our blackouts are flame retardant for curtain use and meet most international standards, including the European standard EN 137773:2003 and the American NFPA 701
Are they washable?
The Ultradark series is completely washable, as is the Rubeblack. Due to its outer coating, the Blacksan is not recommended for machine washing.
Can they be customized?
Absolutely, both in design and color.
