Smooth paper: the perfect backdrop for the design
The non-reflective, semi-matte finish of the smooth paper (180 g/m²) makes it the ideal substrate when the printed design takes center stage—such as murals, geometric patterns, or large-scale illustrations. It does not compete with the image. It is the most versatile material in the collection and works in almost any space, from meeting rooms to hotel bedrooms.
Papyrus: unadorned elegance
Papyruscover is PVC-free and features a texture that mimics the finish of natural papyrus. At 147 g/m², it is the lightest material in the collection and one of the easiest to install. We specify it for projects where the client seeks a sophisticated look without resorting to glossy finishes or added bulk—such as spas, relaxation areas, and hotel lobbies designed to feel warm and inviting.
Linen: texture and durability for high-traffic areas
The linen finish features a subtle dimensional effect and a natural texture that adds depth to the wall without overwhelming the space. Its high durability makes it particularly well-suited for high-traffic areas such as restaurants, corridors, and hotel common areas. When a project requires a wall finish that retains its visual appeal over years of use, this is our go-to material.
Metallic: controlled impact
With a weight of 350 g/m² and a silver surface featuring a moderate sheen, the metallic finish is ideal for creating a striking focal point—such as an accent wall in a restaurant, a bar backdrop, or a reception area that needs character. It is applied directly using adhesive. When used judiciously, it stands out as one of the most impactful finishes in the collection.
PVC-free finishes: when the project demands them
Papyruscover, Plowcover, and Gluecover make up the PVC-free Wallcover collection. We specify them for projects with explicit sustainability requirements in the specifications, or for spaces where the client wishes to reduce the chemical load of the finish without compromising on fire-retardant certification. Additionally, Plowcover—with its vertical lines—enhances the perceived height of rooms with low ceilings.
