On the island of Fuerteventura, facing the crystal-clear waters of Jandía beach, stands the new RIU hotel: a space designed for rest, well-being, and complete relaxation. It has been a true pleasure to be involved in this privileged setting, carefully attending to every detail of the project.
This time, our work has focused on the fabrics, providing comfort, quality, and a design aligned with the hotel's essence. The interior design is by the Deart studio.
The importance of Ultradark fabric
At Comersan, hotel projects—and especially guest rooms—always stand out for their use of blackout technical fabrics like Ultradark , a proprietary patent that offers up to 1,000 times more darkness than other similar fabrics. This innovation guarantees a deep and restorative sleep, essential to every guest's experience.
Furthermore, Ultradark is an easy-to-wash, plastic-free fabric available in a variety of textures and finishes, achieving a natural and elegant drape without the dreaded plastic look. Its customizable color options allow each curtain or panel to be tailored to the room's style, adding coherence and sophistication to the overall ensemble.
Blinds and upholstery in common areas
Beyond the guest rooms, we also worked on the common areas , where the dining room blinds and chair upholstery add a touch of design and functionality. The result: a warm, harmonious, and nuanced atmosphere that reinforces the hotel's personality.
