Nature lover? The new luxury resort is located on the island of Boa, in Cape Verde. A paradise with a unique environment, its dunes and volcanic landscapes give the island a lunar landscape that is the counterpoint to its beaches and incredible wildlife. It is common to see humpback whales or sea turtles from its coasts.
In this idyllic and unique environment worldwide, the new Hotel Karamboa of the RIU chain is located. On this occasion, we have worked with the interior design studio DEART.
The charm of the rooms, a haven of peace
The pools, restaurants, and lobby are environments that set the style of the hotel. Above all of them are the rooms, the true protagonists of any residential complex.
Here, the key is to prioritize discrete decoration aimed at promoting rest. Even more so, in this case, we are talking about a luxury hotel, for adults only, and focused on offering dream vacations.
In terms of ensuring the best rest in the rooms, Linopol is used, a sheer curtain that lets light through, and Ultradark fabric to prevent light from entering. This fabric is exclusive to Comersan and, thanks to it, we achieve total darkness and a perfect drape as it has no synthetic components.
To complete the decoration, the throws have been customized in soft colors and with an exclusive print for this project. Thanks to digital printing, we can take on any design.
Lamps, armchairs, and blinds to decorate a top-notch hotel
At the same time, we have also worked on the common areas. Although we have explained everything in the latest blog posts, we provide more details here.
Lamps designed with Wallcover to customize each piece to the maximum. In fact, their print and large size are key to the decoration in the reception area. By using this type of panel, we can print any pattern and they offer different textures.
In the main restaurant, we have worked on upholstering the armchairs and designing the blinds. In this case, the blinds have been made double-sided, so we achieve the same finish on both the exterior and interior.
