Indira, oriental inspiration

Indira, inspiración oriental

The Indira collection does not go unnoticed. The use of colors, designs, and prints are very characteristic and give a lot of personality to any environment.

The collection is inspired by Jacobean flowers. In this case, the inspiration comes from a very characteristic type of wild flower, with its petals and intense orange, pink or purplish colors. Embroidering and representing these flowers has been a constant in design history, although this type of print became popular in 17th century England, during the reign of King James I.

During this period, nobility and bourgeoisie were attracted to oriental species and exotic plants. It was then that this type of embroidery reached its maximum expansion. In fact, at that time, this type of print was used to decorate curtains and bedding in palaces and bourgeois homes.

On this occasion, thanks to high-definition digital printing, we have managed to reproduce the colors and delicacy of the embroidery, as you can see in this detail of some curtains from the Indira collection.

Cushions and curtains, a very versatile collection

Classic, elegant, and colorful are the adjectives that come to mind at first glance when seeing the collection. Technically, it meets all technical and safety requirements (it is flame retardant) for decorating public spaces, hotels, or restaurants. The fabric is very resistant and yields excellent results for cushions, upholstery, and curtains.
