RIU Jambo Hotel on the wonderful island of Zanzibar

Hotel RIU Jambo en la maravillosa isla de Zanzíbar

Contrary to popular belief, Zanzibar was originally the spice island. A paradise in Tanzania, where the trade of pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon generated significant income and left a unique cultural footprint on its population.

At the same time, the turquoise sea and the best sunsets complete one of the most longed-for holiday destinations in the world.

In this natural paradise, the new RIU Jambo (4 stars) stands. Specifically, in the north of the island, on Nungwi beach, famous for the turquoise colors of its waters. In both the rooms and the common areas, Comersan has played a relevant role in the design and execution of this new grand hotel.

The rooms, all ready for rest

Brown, beige, and toasted tones to bring the colors of Africa to each room. Aware of the fundamental importance of rest and disconnection in such a hotel, Blasckan fabric has been used for the curtains, an opaque fabric in a neutral tone, combined with sheer curtains and decorative curtains to add more warmth to the room.

The cushions (Daytona collection) and the plaid finish the decoration with toasted tones and give a sober style to the entire room.

Unique spaces with the Liberty and Onawa collections

The common areas of the hotel are very spacious and bright. Designing areas for conversation or tranquility, they have placed poufs in different colors and patterns that create relaxing atmospheres.

For the creation of the space, we have used our Liberty collections. geometric prints reminiscent of Art Deco, and Onawa. ethnic designs that fit perfectly in this space.

The dining room, a project conceived and customized one hundred percent

Undoubtedly, it does not go unnoticed and is one of the spaces that is generating the most buzz. In the dining room, large wooden structures with patterns and designs printed exclusively for this hotel have been placed.

This type of commission always represents a challenge for the entire Comersan team. In order to achieve the best result, the designs of large leaves and African ethnic prints are achieved with digital printing, resulting in these large structures that play a leading role in the decoration of the entire restaurant.
