Hotel RIU Chicago, a 360-degree project

Hotel RIU Chicago, un trabajo de 360 grados

The new RIU Hotel in the city of Chicago will open its doors in June 2024. Although the grand opening is only weeks away, we want to give you a sneak peek at how we've worked on it, the chosen fabrics, and how everything has been customized from our factory for a unique result.

With a simple decoration, in neutral tones and a minimalist style, the challenge was to create a space of peace and tranquility in the middle of one of the most active cities on the planet.

The importance of Wallcover at the RIU Hotel Chicago

Wallcover are completely unique wall coverings designed for the contract world. Their enormous versatility makes them indispensable in all spaces. In this case, they have been used on the headboard wall in the bedrooms and in the restaurant area.

The designs, patterns, and colors create immediate and immersive environments.

Before continuing to analyze the hotel, let's highlight 4 characteristics of Wallcover for your contract projects:

  1. High resistance: The panels have a very long lifespan.
  2. Fire-retardant: They comply with all safety regulations.
  3. Easy to clean: They require low maintenance, ideal for high-traffic areas like dining rooms or rooms.
  4. Complete designs: Seamless and in different sizes. Although we can customize everything, standard sizes are 250, 300, 350 cm with special heights up to 100 square meters.

The curtains, a COMERSAN hallmark of quality

Without a doubt, we can say that our curtains are one of our hallmarks of quality. In this case, to perfectly modulate the entry of light, fire-retardant sheers have been combined with curtains made of Ultradark fabric

  1. Fire-retardant sheers: Designed in soft, earthy tones to add warmth to the environment.
  2. Ultradark Curtains: A Comersan patent. Without any plastic substance, a fabric 1,000 times more opaque than others on the market is achieved. It can be customized with any color from the RAL chart. In this case, an intense beige tone with a unique natural drape has been used.

The studio responsible for the design is ADG Interiorismo.
